Upgraded from one Earthwatts PSU to this Earthwatts PSU
Got this to upgrade from an Antec Earthwatts EA-380 that was also very good. I was running two old video cards in Crossfire and the EA-380 could handle it, but it was really taxing the poor PSU. NB: This model EA-650 (the non-"GREEN" one) does not catch on fire. The one with "GREEN" in its name is a different model and has had a fair number of reports on Newegg of catching on fire.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Perfect for light builds
This is a rock solid power supply for light weight builds. It's limited with regards to what graphics cards can be powered safely, but rock solid for a mid-range media PC build. I would not recommend this for a gaming build that would require more than a 65 watt graphics card. That being said, the price/performance ratio is pretty nice.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Antec makes quality power supplies
The title says it all. This is the third EA-650 that I've purchased, the first two have been working perfectly for several years. It is Antec, and this company makes pretty good PSUs. It may be used, but I know it will last me a long time.

Great for the money
Has kept my system with an i5 2500k, I was very skeptical when I got it because there are reviews of it getting on fire but I haven't had that problem
