Worst Shampoo & Conditioner I Ever Used
Wish I could give zero stars. I don't get how there are so many good reviews on this or why the semi-high end salon I go to uses this stuff on me after they do my hilights and lowlights but its horrible. Next time I'll ask them not to use it. I wanted to buy some for home since they use it at the salon and it had lots of good reviews. I'm guessing good reviews came from people with either short hair or very easy to comb through hair. First of all it felt like I was putting purple acrylic paint on my hair. The shampoo gave me hardly any later and I had to use a half a bottle for it to feel like I did an actual shampoo and then the conditioner felt 0% nourishing. Usually any decent conditioner will help me comb my hair out in the shower with a very wide tooth comb but with this stuff I think it actually made it harder! It was the worst shower I ever took. It really just felt like paint. No clean feeling, no nourishing conditioner feeling. I would rather pay more money at the salon to keep my color bright than ever use this crap again. In the trash can it goes. As far as the smell, it smells like an old lady product. Like something grandma had in her bathroom cabinet. That's the only way I can describe it. I could get past the smell if I felt it worked well and felt good. Even my body feels super sticky from it after taking a shower. Gawd awful. Also I was afraid to leave the conditioner in my hair as long as I usually would because it was such a deep purple I was afraid it was going to stain my hair purple. Well sure enough my light blonde highlights have a lavender tint to them now and my dark blond highlights look brassy now. Ugggggg. Horrible. I'll stick with my awesome Goldwell Dual Senses for blondes shampoo and conditioner. In fact I washed and conditioned with it right after I used this and it helped my color a little and felt way better but that ick smell is stuck in my hair. I'll have to use biosilk or something sweet smelling to try to cover it for now. I just waned to try this stuff. Wish I didntVollständige Rezension lesen

Shampoo is wonderful; conditioner, not so much
I love the shampoo, so I thought I would love the conditioner as well. The conditioner is not creamy and doesn't coat your hair. I normally put conditioner on my hair and then comb through my hair with my fingers. With this conditioner, I couldn't even get my fingers through my hair. Great For Gray Hair
I have short gray/white hair with a bit of grow-out blond. Both the shampoo and conditioner are a bluish-purple color out of the bottle. I leave the shampoo on my hair for a few minutes, rinse, and then apply the conditioner and leave in until I finish showering. No need for gloves and no staining in the shower. The Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner leave my hair color brighter with a lavender hue. The product has an unpleasant odor but not noticeable after rinsing.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Dried my hair now it like straw
Have used it three times with the shampoo. It hair is so dry it looks like straw. I have naturally gray hair, never had a problem it it being dry till now.
Don't get the shine of manageable condition it did with my regular shampoo and conditioner. Neither were specified for gray or blond hair but it removed all the brassiness from my hair.

Good Produck
No cons at all. Did a great job taking the brassy color from my hair. I would recommend anyone who has gray hair that has a yellow cast to buy the shampoo and this conditioner. Works great. My hair is a pretty white gray now.

AWFUL
It has an awful smell to it and the shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair feeling rough! No conditioning at all!

Disappointed
Was hoping to find a nice thick conditioner to compliment my Shimmer Lights shampoo. Unfortunately, this conditioner is thinner than the shampoo! I do love the scent and I appreciate the prompt service and nice packaging, though.Vollständige Rezension lesen
