Bought for my 2006 1.8tdci Focus C-Max
I bought one of these for my 2005 Mondeo a few years ago from this same seller and it was fantastic, so I knew their products well. I had to buy another one for my c max as the older one wasn't compatible.
It's really easy to fit and can be done in around 2 mins including securing with tie wraps! Once fitted I found that there wasn't the fuel saving that I was expecting on my next 100 mile journey. However, having contacted the company I was assured that this was due to my ecru having to re-learn its settings from the device.
I can confirm that this was definitely the case as I am now getting an increase in mpg of around 20% on what I was getting before. I can feel the response of the increased hp with no turbo lag at all. I should have bought this a long time ago!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great improvement
Fitting the chip took a minute or two, nothing complicated, the supplied instructions were clear to follow.
After fitting I took the car for a good run. Before fitting my galaxy was returning 39-41 mpg with the Aircon on. After fitting it's returning between 47-49 mpg with Aircon on, driving normally. Driving conservatively within speed limits taking advantage of the extra torque and using 5th gear instead of 4th where possible without having the Aircon on, I'm achieving 54-55 mpg. I'm basically seeing an improvement of around 14 mpg so I'm very pleased. Driving on dual carriageways & motorways, you can feel the extra torque and the car easily reaches 70mph effortlessly pulling in all gears. My main reason for buying the chip was to help eliminate the flat spots / turbo lag upon initially driving off. This has pretty much remedied that. I can only say that this tuning box was worth the money in my opinion, and results may vary between other vehicles.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
