An excellent read.
The book was in an 'As New' condition. The book is only recently published (within the past 2 years). As most of the books in this series are set in the 19th Century (as this one is in fact) I thought the Author must have died, but he is obviously still writing. The author applies his usual skill in parading a range of possible suspects for the reader to consider. The partnership of Colbeck with his sargeant and other helpers systematically gather information. Excellent reading well written by Edward Marston. He brings the characters to life, what life was like over 150 years ago. Inspector Colbeck is a true detective.
