Great little streamer and incredible value.
Received item as described with super fast shipping. All the positive reviews are accurate, this is an amazing simple to use streamer at a great price. If you have a separate DAC, you simply cannot find a better combination for the sound quality and cost. This tiny streamer cannot be beat for its ease of use and features. Remarkable for the price
I was searching for an option to handle my hi res streaming needs but refused to pay the absurd prices being asked for "audiophile" crap. I didn't care if it was in a fancy box- I needed a streamer that would be able to cover Qobuz, Tidal and the like.
I also wanted a unit that would allow the use of my external high quality DAC unit. I watched a review by Randy, the Cheap Audio Man. He loved it. As he was talking I realized THIS Wiim mini was what I had been searching for!
Absurdly easy interface software you download from the Playstore and poof! You are in business. You can, by choosing the optical out, send the signal direct to an outboard DAC unit if you choose.
This baby supports all file types at max res. Also has a equalizer built in if you choose.
Also has most all music streaming services built in. Tap, fill in your password and user name and you are off to the races.
I really recommend this unit for a beginner who is unsure about streaming to his or her stereo system or powered speakers. So easy to mess with. All you need is a subscription to one or more of the music services and this thing will make it happen!
This device requires WiFi to operate though I believe it may also support Bluetooth.
Anyway, easy to use, does EXACTLY what you need it to do and furthermore, the company is doing constant updates making it even better! Best few bucks I have spent in a long time.
As a side bar, I am using this on a high end system with Magnepan speakers. I can't find any sonic flaws that I could attribute to the Wiim mini.
I hear there is a newer model in the works that I can directly connect via Ethernet. I will be first in line! Not a big fan of WiFi for these types of things.

Funny name, serious product
You can stream music to virtually any receiver, powered speaker or amp in the house. Hooks up to Amazon Echo. Use wifi instead of Bluetooth to free up your phone to be a phone and avoid hearing notifications for texts and emails. Love it. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great value for something I don't use all the time
Just need a streamer to feed my DAC. Has digital out and loaded with audio apps from the most popular sites. Setup was easy and the app works perfectly

WiiM Mini - Awesome!
easy to configure - great sound quality - fixes the issue caused by sonos vs google court battle. If you want to play songs from your phone all you need is a sonos with a line in and one of these.

Great streamer!
The Wiim Mini is fantastic as a wireless streamer that is out of sight and blends into your system. For high fidelity listening you are going to want to bypass the internal DAC and connect it to your own DAC using the optical out connection. The fidelity of AirPlay 2 is not as good as Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, etc., if that matters to you.Vollständige Rezension lesen

If you're considering one go ahead and buy it.
Great device. Practically set itself up. Sound is stellar as well. Integrates and works with my streaming supplier's phone software. Allows phone to be used as a remote. Can't ask for much more.

What's not to like?
The software alone is worth the price of this device... then add preamp, streamer to both Alexa and Siri, and a decent dac. Add Aiyima 3255 amp and Emotive B1 speakers and you have an excellent audio system for a little over $300.Vollständige Rezension lesen
