Black Books TV Series Complete Box Set

Very engaging and entertaining. A gentle and intelligent comedy with good plots and situations.
Most of the dialogue and action is confined within a dusty old book shop, but whereas the scenery is limited, the imagination is not. Great characterisations, sharp writing and great comedic performances. Thoroughly likeable characters.
I never saw this televised so watching it on dvd was a total treat. It has the condensed plotting of Faulty Towers and the wit and surrealism of Father Ted . A pure pleasure to watch.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Black books comedy gold

One of the better british comedies out there if you want a good laugh anytime. The characters just make it so much more enjoyable to watch and the storylines are so funny.
