Great Reception!

Have used the popular 3M/Made in China units in the past. Compared to those, this unit is light years ahead in reception sensitivity and sound quality. It has twice as many presets available and feels more comfortable when wearing them. I found a used pair in excellent condition on eBay for less than half what a new set costs. Well-made. Controls take some getting used to.

This is well-made, reception is strong, and the battery life is good. The only hitch is that the controls are not intuitive, so requires that one read the instructions and remember the quirks.

Awesome headphones

Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the box it came in was beat up and looked like it was a used pair of headphones. However, they work great!

Best earmuffs that I've owned

I have had several radio muffs in the past including 3M Worktunes and have had problems with them. Reception was spotty on weaker stations and on the first pair, the speaker in one side became intermittent after a short time. The second pair had digital tuning and started jumping around stations by itself. The last pair failed completely after only 2 months.
I have been using the Howard Leight muffs for 10 months and they seem to have better reception and I think they are of better quality. I just ordered a second pair.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Makes work more enjoyable

Very nice set

I've used the other style made by Howard Leight. My other set has the manual setting knob for the stations. The head band liner has been broken for years. This new Howard Leight set is digital and is clear. The head band is made much better and is very comfortable. The head set cuts down on the loud noise that can damage your hearing greatly. It's very good protection. We operate big air hammer guns to change wheels on eighteen wheelers, so we use them daily. I'm planning on another purchase of these babies.Vollständige Rezension lesen
