A new use for an older product

This item showed some wear and tear but that was expected. Good price and works well. My car did not have a CD player so I bought this to use CDs in my car by connecting this to my car's sound system when I want to listen to a CD. Sony had an excellent sound for music - as well as voice. I like the addition of adding bass which exists on Sony products. I listen to it at night and find it a little difficult to get the right settings in the dark, but that is a minor problem. All the controls are conveniently located, so it's easy to use, and it's great to be able to listen privately to my old CDs.

Great product, reasonable price

I'm old fashioned, but CD's played on Sony Walkmans (or similar) sound so much better than wi-fi and earbuds. This Walkman delivers great sound when paired with a set of good quality headphones.
