Not the real thing

This is not the Manta Ray pad. It is a knock off. The first time I tried to put in on a bar the rough grip on the bar scraped off a layer of the plastic. I imagine if I try to use it regularly it won't last very long. The cushion part is okay but as I added weight to the bar it felt somewhat unbalanced and awkward. It's not the original Manta Ray

The product that I received is not the original Manta Ray. It is very hard what do its edges hurting my shoulder.
The original Manta Ray is made by a different material, more comfortable.

I used one of these years ago in another gym. I was gled to find one for myself. It really takes all the pressure off the shoulders

Manta Ray - USA

First off , beware of the imitation rays.
They are junk, uncomfortable and do not stay on the bar. They are not worth the supposed small savings in price.
For high bar squats, supreme comfort, no vertebrae compression so no pain , this all adds up to much better squats.
The Ray stays on the bar between sets in the correct spot.
Its flexible and there is no pain or shifting with it under load.

Much needed!

I love this thing. The first time trying one of these was in Afghanistan during a deployment. Since then I've had lower back surgery so now balance and proper form is paramount. Squat shoulder pad

Very good quality! Was a little worried when buying it, but I'm very glad I did! Works great for me and the cushion is a plus! Would recommend to anyone!

Awesome!

Great product, helped increase the amount I can squat at least 50 pounds. I have used the Manta at several different gyms and had to have one when I built my own at home.

The real thing. Great for squats. Fits right over the traps and allows you to balance the bar while keeping an upright back. Great company; great product.

Just awful
