Real midbass speakers with good sound quality at a good price.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich A true midbass speaker which are now getting more difficult to find,most are rebadged pro audio mids and only go down to 150 Hz,so won't go low enough to integrate with subwoofers.
These are specced at 50 Hz to 18 KHz.They will handle 50 Hz when used i/b in a car door,but need as sharp a roll off as possible (I used 48db/octave).To get decent power handling you really need to high pass at 70 Hz.The 18 KHz top end roll off is the work of a science fiction author,I had a quick listen to them running full range and would guess at them starting to roll of naturally at about 1000 Hz.
Their high sensitivity of 96db/octave is the reason I chose them as they were being used with a pair of 108db/octave horn speakers,and they do seem to work quite well together as part of a system where the high frequency speakers are high passed as low as possible,in this case 700 Hz.They wouldn't work well as part of a two way system with conventional tweeters crossed over at 4 KHz,but could be used effectively to fill in the midbass lacking from 4 or 5 1/4 inch component speakers,running them say 70 - 200 Hz.
Overall good sound quality in my system(although I can't say how well they'd work in other types of systems),certainly good for the price and Pioneers legendary bass speaker build quality deserves it's reputation from what I've seen and heard with these speakers.Quick enough to keep up with horn speakers and happy running from 250 watts RMS into each one.
The lack the finesse of brands such as DLS,Dynaudio,Focal,Morel etc but are a fraction of the price of any of these brands.

Good quality traditional football boots.
Not quite up to the standard of the best football boots ever made,the Adidas Copa Mundials,but only differing as far as I know in not being made from Kangaroo leather.
Still ultra comfy and break in quite quickly.Bought for a youngster who is a bit retro and likes the classic white backed long fold over tongues more than anything else.

A real powerhouse at a good price.
Incredible sound quality for just £15 and good power output as long as you give it 24 Volts and all the current it needs (which isn't actually a lot!)
