Learn to be a Real Photographer
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I purchased the Nikon FM10 for a high school photography class last year, as my teacher said that it is one of the few fully manual cameras that are still being made. I was extremely satisfied.
I love it dearly, mostly because of how much control I have over all the shots. I like being able to have complete control over the focus and lighting and exposure, whereas an automatic digital camera does all that for you.
Unlike some manual cameras, the Nikon FM10 does come with a zoom lens (and a good one at that), which always comes in handy to ensure a close shot with good composition.
If you are interested in taking your photography skills to the next level, from simply taking pictures to being a photographer, definitely look into this camera. It is fantastic and it is very easy to learn how to work it (with just a few tries, you'll be producing better pictures than ever before).
Definitely recommend buying!

For the Starting and Experimenting Photographer
Let's face it: if you're a long-time, experienced photographer, this might not be the camera for you. However, if you've stricken up and interest and are looking for a good-quality camera, this is perfect in helping you learn the ropes.
With 8.3 megapixels, this camera can take some very high-quality shots, and with dozens of different settings, you will definitely get the perfect picture. From natural lighting to image stabilization, and even settings for sunsets, fireworks, portraits, nighttime, flower close-ups, and text, it's easy to find the right setting for any occasion. There's even a setting to record videos of high quality, with sound. It even comes with cables to view your pictures and videos on your TV.
Don't worry about time because there's a rechargeable battery, so you won't waste money on constantly buying alkaline batteries that quickly die.
The only complaint I have is that the included memory card is small and will only fit a few of the higher-quality pictures on it. However, for a small price you can also buy a bigger memory card (at least 1GB) to take and store more photographs until you upload to your computer. This especially comes in handy when on vacation, so you can take hundreds of photos until you return home to your computer.
Definitely recommend buying.
