Much better response, and it idles smmother when it's cold.
The only thing I didn't like about this setup is that the heat shield doesn't fit the space where the OEM air box was worth a crap. I also used a part ff the rubber trim (that wasn't doing anything anyway) and put it in the hole where the intake comes in to the filter. This takes up the space where the heat shield hole is way too big for the intake tube, and thereby eliminates the need for the other mount entirely. As for keeping engine heat away from the filter, I will be adding a bit of heat shield insulation to further reduce the amount of engine heat that is getting to the airbox. Seems like a no brainer that heat shield insulation should have been included, for the money they get for the kit!

Need more traction on loose dirt?
I went through four sets of tires before trying these... Zenoah 290 ported was just making too much power for the tires to use. Then I tried these. WHAT a difference. Now when I hit the throttle the buggy leaps forward with very little tire spin. The sucker just goes. Same in the corners. A judicious application of power will make it leap out of the corners and fly down the straights. Love these tires! And the price is right!

This has to be the biggest POS I have purchased for my Baja! I bought it to try to eliminate the slop that is in the stock steering, what a mistake. Don't EVER buy one of these with the spring first of all. Secondly after a short time there is more slop in this than in the stock one. The only way this is even usable is if you loctite every part that doesn't have to move, take off the spring screw the two parts that the spring connected together and use a heavy duty servo saver on the servo. What a waste of money. I'm not happy with ANY of the parts I have purchased from Integy! Chinese junk sellers!
