Equivalent to a Founder's Edition
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich If you are looking to get an MSI 1080ti, get the Gaming X model.
Pros:
- Good pcb. Has a plate over most of the board to help heat dispersion and thermal pads where the plate doesn't cover. Has a lot of power phases.
- Cheaper than other models (usually)
- Fan is relatively quiet until 80% rpm
Cons:
- The cooler is recycled from the 1070, meaning the card runs very hot. Actually as hot as the FE, so I'm not sure why they even bothered slapping this on. Under full load you will reach upwards of 80C+.
- The fans are very loud above 80% rpm. And if you get to 80%, you will certainly be pushing 100% because of how weak the fans actually are.
- Warranty is voided if you try to take off the cooler. I replaced the stock cooler with a G10 (because I want to be able to hear anything when the card is under load) and you have to go through a "Warranty void if removed" sticker.
If you are just looking for something cheap, get any other model. Even Founder's since that will keep the case cooler. I had to underclock this to stock speed just to keep it at 70C. Using a G10 caused the card to constantly crash, so not sure what other options I have for it.
