WOW and Un-WOW
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I am probably one of very few people in the world who was not immediately taken by this film. I thought the begining of the film lacked focus and pourpose. The Plot and character development was confusing at best. I was ready to hit the eject button and make this DVD another coaster.
BUT then came the Tango. Perhaps one of the best choreographed and staged and filmed dance sequences of all time. WOW. From there the story started making sence and the characters started coming together and developing. By the end of the film I decided that I only wasted half of my money and half of my time. But the last half is certainly worth its own part. The last half nearly stands alone.
I point no fingers and make no blame. Its just that if there had been an intermission before the Tango (ROXANNE) then I would not have come back.
Costumes, sets and decor, cinamatogrephy and performances were top rate throughout.
