Drag latch stuck.
the latch to get to the drag setting brackets would not close without some oil and reshaping with a screwdriver, it's still a little tight but works ok now. Not a warranty problem yet. I own 4 of these reals and they cast great. Thanks to Matt Allen and his informative videos.

The top magnets did not touch the fridge. I had to bend the plastic in order for them to work properly.
