Great gaming unit!
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Way too much fun! Setup takes a little time, but it is easy to do, especially if you already have an MSN Live Account or Hotmail Account. You do want to make sure you have plenty of space to play. If you get too close, Kinect can't "see" you anymore, so you'll want to stay about 6ft in front of the controller. Really surprises me how well the voice commands work, but sometimes the music from your game will drown out your voice, so I usually have the TV controller handy so I can hit the mute button. Also, it is possible to turn off the console with Kinect. I've read lots of posts online that say it cannot be done, but it can be. Just go to the main menu and scroll over to the Settings page. There is a menu selection that says Turn Off. When you are on this page, simply say, "XBox, turn off." Xbox will then ask you if you want to turn off the console. At that point, say "Yes", and the console is turned off. Some people would like to use Kinect to turn on XBox, but that would mean it would have to be more in a sleep mode than completely powered off. Considering that the Kinect has a video camera in it, I would find that tremendously creepy, especially if someone could hack into it. (It is connected to the Internet.) Besides, it's not that big of a deal to turn on the XBox. You just touch the big round X on the console, or press the big round X on the controller for a second or two. It does take about 30 seconds for Kinect to come online after you turn on the console. A little green light on Kinect blinks and goes steady once it is ready to go. Kinect will move up and down as it tries to "find" you, so don't freak out about that. Simply wave at Kinect, and if you have set up Kinect ID, face Kinect and it will sign you in. In summary, it truly is a "game changer" in the world of video game consoles.

Great Portable Printer
This is a great little printer. You can print up to 5x7 photos without it being connected to a computer. And thanks to the built-in hard drive, you can transfer photos from your storage card to the hard drive, then erase your storage card to take more photos. It also allows you to get creative with a wide array of borders that you can put around your photos as well. You can also purchase a battery for mobile printing and a bluetooth dongle for wireless printing, but honestly, I never had much luck with either of these accessories.
I use it to print name badges at registrations for various events. If you set it for the L size paper -- about 3 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall -- you can print two of the Avery 5390 name badge refills at a time. This is great for the attendees because they don't have to wait until you get a full sheet of names (which would be 8 people) to print them. I usually use my big printer to print the organization's artwork or logo on the name badges,then I tear them into groups of two and use this little printer to print the names on them. I can also run a single name badge through it if I need to do so.
It comes with software for Windows XP, but you can run it on a Windows 7 computer. Simply connect it to your computer via a USB cable, turn on the printer, and Windows will install the necessary software. In addition to being able to print with it from your computer, you can access the printer's hard drive or any memory cards that are in it. It accepts a wide array of memory cards, so if you computer does not have a card reader or just takes SD cards, this printer will allow you to access other types of cards.
This is actually the second HP Photosmart 475 I have purchased. My first one is about 15 years old and the printhead is starting to go out on it -- the blacks aren't as crisp and dark as they should be -- so I was very happy when I found this one on eBay.

Great Power Supply and a Great Value!
This is a great power supply! It is smaller and does not weigh as much as the one it is replacing. Really like the blue LED as it lets you know that it is actually getting power. I've heard of some reviewers complaining that it gets too hot. I used it for several hours playing games, watching videos, etc., and it only got slightly warm. If you need a replacement power supply for your Asus ROG, I heartily recommend this product.
