Remote doesn't work.

A top notch powerhouse of a receiver.!
I am the sole owner of a D1S and let me tell you that it is a very capable unit that was far ahead of it's time. I purchased this unit in '86 and to this day, it has performed flawlessly. It is truly a powerful unit with more than enough abilities to handle whatever you throw at it. The remote that comes with it is a true learning remote but once set up it will basically turn on anything that has an infrared remote by duplicating the functions. As mentioned earlier, it has the power to push any speaker that you throw at it. At present, I have two sets of Realistic Mach 1's connected and it doesn't break a sweat. This receiver is over 30years old and the design is just as fresh as ever. It generates very little heat and simply does what it's suppose to do....perform. I wouldn't not sell mine for any other receiver. It's that good.
