Sanken Cos 11D Sings sweet sweet dialogue in my ears.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich As a production sound mixer for 3 years, the Sanken Cos 11d has been in my arsenal every step of the way. With its crisp mid's and its nice boost to maintain very clean sound while hidden under clothes, the Sanken Cos 11D is my choice of lav for production. The wire itself comes in four different colors:
Black
Beige
White
Gray
There are a numerous accessories for this item that make the Sanken Cos 11D even more desirable. I use the Dve store brand vampire clip. Sanken produced a RM 11 rubber mount for the moc which is excellent, there's tie clips and so much more. The wire itself comes with a pigtail but as I've done five times now, I get mine connected to the desired wire by using wilcoxsound. Awesome company that can be found through ebay. Tiu.can buy and have them wire it for you for an excellent price.
The cons about this wire are not much but still should be brought up. The highs are not veey strong. It seems as though there's not much headroom before the mic overmodulates. The self noise is pretty crappy. Using this wire while micing your actors will result in beautiful sound, but yiur going to be fighting a little with wire noise. That goes for most lavs in gerneral, but it appears as though the Sanken has always fought with me a little more.
Overall, this mic is beautiful. It cuts well with a Schoeps and pretty close to many other condenser mics. It's a little pricey, so if you're starting off I would go with another mic for now. But with a price tag of around $320, this wil stay in my bag for many more years to come.
