Unbelievable! Perfect irons!
7 von 8 finden das hilfreich I'm 22 years old and am just getting back into golf. I played a few rounds in middle school and gave it up until a few months ago. Though I've hit a few different brands of cavity backs and a few different brands of blades, the only clubs I'd ever owned were my grandfathers 1970-something Lynx (blades). I'm not sure what my handicap is and I've only played 6 or 7 rounds in the past year. I'm still learning, but I've shot two 89s and shot a 39 on 9 holes the other day with the old Lynx.
I decided to try blades because the best golfers that I know (and most serious) recommended blades for the feedback and the consistency. I was scared of the Mizunos because of all the people saying not to play them if you're not a low handicapper, but only YOU know how serious you are about the game and how much work you're willing to put in.
I just bought a set of Mizuno Mp-14s off of ebay, with precision rifle 6.5 stiff shafts and new tour velvet grips and they cannot be put into words!!! Don't ever let someone else tell you that a club is not for you! The feedback from these irons is priceless. When you hit off center shots you can feel it, but the ball still goes almost full distance. When you hit them on the sweet spot they feel like a million bucks!!! With the old Lynx I hit my 7 iron 150, but with the MP-14s I hit the 7 iron 170! My 8 iron went from 130 to 150, my 9 iron went from 120 to 140, and my wegde went from 105 to 125!
I bought them for $200 and wouldn't take a dime less than $800 for them! These are the ultimate game improving club. They show each and every mistake you make in your swing. They won't give you feel forgiveness, but they will give you a little sweet spot forgiveness. They look great, they feel phenomenal, and the feedback is soooo helpful for those of us who want to perfect our swings and our bottoming out skills. Buy a set before they become extinct and play them. If you don't absolutely love em, put em right back on ebay and someone like me will snatch em up!!! Goodluck!
