Solder anywhere!
Brilliant piece of kit. So much easier to use than an electric one - no wires dragging about, plus you can solder anywhere. I've had one of these for nearly 30 years and I've just replaced the tip and flint.
Each gas refill lasts quite a long time, but keep your canister handy as it's bound to run out just when you need it otherwise.
Have used it in the middle of an airfield in breezy conditions and once the flame was lit the catalytic convertor fired up and had no difficulty soldering. Decided to buy a second one for my mobile toolkit, leaving the old one for home.

Direct replacement for the old one, easy switch over.

Great value
I noticed a sidelight out the day before an MOT. Looked in 4 different bulb selection packs I had - luckily I had one left. I ordered these anyway and they arrived well protected a few days later and have now replenished all my boxes. They look well made so I don't foresee any problems.
