So useful for video
This lens offers great amount of flexibility if you are shooting video
Looks great if you are going for that look (like the other Leica r will have character and details, not as contrasty and sharp then modern lenses)
Sometimes I wish of course that the lens would have a smaller aperture but cannot have everything.
Also you have to consider the price. But all the Leica r prices are moving up.
So just figure out your needs and if you go for it you will come to love it too

A very nice lens to own
Had this lens for a while, and loved it (the version II).
For video this lens can provide a great angle to be close to characters and still show the surroundings.
The lens itself has a beautiful vibe. Really nice. It seems the value keeps moving up. They really start to be collectors items.
If you plan to use it for video, I would think about it twice before doing any modification on the lens, in case you wanna sell it back in the future. Still photographer are a big part of the market for those.
