I grew up fishing, farming, camping and working on the Tallulah River in beautiful Rabun County.
The river was damned in the early 1900s to form a series of Georgia Power lakes to generate power for the growing street car and electric needs of Atlanta, Georgia.
The trading posts and travel routes from Atlanta thru and north became a major attraction for commerce and unique tourism and business.
