An all-around excellent performer. High quality in every way!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich While a rare and largely unheard of lens for the RB67 system, this lens performs just as well if not better than its more common counterparts. You get a fairly wide angle of view; 35mm equivalent on 6x7, while attaining a reasonably large aperture at f/3.5; the largest for the RB67 system.
The cable release trigger on KL lenses has been redesigned; it is quite different from its earlier counterparts in that there are no two modes to raise the mirror and trigger the shutter separately, or to do it all on one instance. Instead, this is dependent upon how the cable release is screwed in. It can make operation a bit more fluid, but as a result, can also make it somewhat more finicky.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a wide angle lens with a large aperture for the RB67 system. Furthermore, as an added bonus, KL lenses are amongst Mamiya's most recent for the RB67 system and feature multiple lens coatings plus a floating lens system.

The perfect camera.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I typically shoot medium and large format. It's hard for me to love 35mm, but this made me do it. It's the perfect camera in function, build quality, ergonomics, portability and (in my opinion) styling. Even despite using other Leicas, and several other cameras in the past, I have to ask: Why would you ever need anything else?
