Nice Pedal for the Money!
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Behringer gets a lot of unsubstantiated guff for building inexpensive gear. I happen to own a LOT of Behringer gear and have put together quite a substantial sound package at 1/4 the price of more "upscale" gear. The CS100 Compressor Sustainer is no different, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I don't believe that there is another company out there that has the price/performance ratio that Behringer does and this $25 pedal proves just that!

Interesting Pedal with a Lot of Customized Sound Possibilities
First, I'm going to mention those characteristics that could use improvement.
In the HUMAN VOICE MODE, you can get the wah effect to start on an A-E-I-O-U formant sound and end on an A-E-I-O-U formant sound. Note: you shouldn't use the same formant for both (which causes no change to happen). While interesting, the effect is not as pronounced as I would like it to be. Maybe with just the right playing technique, the effect would be more pronounced.
Secondly, in the DOWN MODE, the effect does not seem to work as well as in the UP MODE. You would think they would be equal, but opposite, but dialing in the DOWN MODE is a bit tricky and I was not as impressed with the results as in the UP MODE.
Now the good news. The UP, SYNTH, and TEMPO MODES work well and give good effects. I don't currently own a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) wired expression pedal, so couldn't check out the EXP/CTL connecter. This would give you the ability to control the sweep of the pedal manually (like a regular wah pedal) in ALL modes. This connector also allows you to set the tempo of the TEMPO MODE with an external foot switch, which is easier to do than the built in method which is accomplished by holding down the pedal foot switch for 2 seconds and then taping in the tempo you want. The ON/BATT light than blinks in sync with the chosen tempo.
Overall I enjoy this pedal.
