It's Okay
You really need a strap or a place to pt it where it can be seen as well as heard.
A few fellow golfers didn't like being able to hear it but if you turn it off it has to be handy to see.
They had watch straps for the other golf buddies I hope they make one for this or otherwise I recommend buying the one in the watchstrap.
