Nearly arcade-perfect
If you liked to pump quarters into Galaga arcade machines in the early 80s, then this game is for you. The gameplay is almost identical in every way to the arcade game. The arcade game used a monitor that was on its side, so it was taller than it was wide. Home TVs are wider than they are tall. Rather than just put black bars on the sides, or change the size of the playfield so it doesn't match the arcade, your score and other information is put on one side of the screen, and the game is played in its original size and shape on the other. Great idea! Galaga is one of the best shooters of its kind, and will definitely keep you coming back for more. I highly recommend this game.

6 of the best on one cartridge
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich This cartridge contains 6 of the best-selling games on Genesis. It has the complete original versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Super Hang-On, Revenge of Shinobi and Columns. Each of these games are great by themselves, and should be in every Genesis game collection. Having them on one convenient cartridge is even better! I recently decided to get a used Genesis and enjoy the nostalgia of my youth. This cartridge was a great way to jump-start my collection. The only negative thing I can think of is that you have to reset the Genesis in order to choose a different game. But that's not so bad. If you don't already own all these games separately, and if you have a Genesis, then you must get this cartridge.

Excellent anime series
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Last Exile is one of my favorite anime series. It reminds me of an edgier version of Miyazaki's Laputa. It's definitely not for young kids. I'd rate it PG-13 because of violence. There is almost no sexual content, except for some skimpy clothing worn by a couple of the characters in a few scenes. The music is great, and the animation quality is excellent. It has a complex plot, and has no filler or flashback episodes in the entire 26 episode series, which is unheard of these days. Each episode is packed with storyline. The ending does leave some things to your imagination, but it wraps up well enough. I have not listened to the English dub, so I can't comment on that, but I found the original Japanese acting with the English subtitles very enjoyable. They managed to cram all 26 episodes onto 3 DVDs, so the video quality suffers in a few spots, but overall it is surprisingly clean and crisp without a lot of artifacts. Definitely in my top 10 anime series of all time.
