Wolf Mig140 Gas No Gas Gasless Mig Welder Review
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this a few weeks ago to do some welding on my car. I am pretty happy with it. I am welding 1.0-1.2mm mild steel using gas and it operates on current settings 3 or 4 when plugged into a 12A 10m extension cable (which is plugged into a standard wall socket) without tripping anything. However I feel the ideal setting for welding this gauge of steel would be somewhere between the two.
Ive been using CO2/Argon mix gas and 0.8mm wire from Toolnet because they are very cheap.
Its a good welder and more or less does what I need it to do (not as good as my old Clarke 130E...but then its a lot cheaper) and I had no issues assembling it and getting it working.
My only concern is around how robust the wheel axle mounts will be. They are metal brackets which are held in place by self tappers which screw directly into the bottom of the plastic end panel (which I thing will eventually crack).
I would recommend this welder for home/DIY.
