It seems the ropes need some work before installation!
They need to be strung up and the hollow braided cover needs to be pushed to one end, since the core is too short. Then the rope needs to be knotted or fused at the end of the core.
I had 2 ropes one core was 12" too short & the other 6".
If this is not done there will be bunching at the brake and the rope will get stuck.
Also the pulley brackets have only square holes on one side(On both sides, would improve versatility a lot).
