High "CPU" and "HIGH MEMORY" after running "Windows Update" SOLVED
First of all, search for the "Microsoft Explorer 11 update" and upgrade explorer.
Windows Stuck on high CPU and Memory usage after running "Windows update" problem.
After running "Windows Update" you have "High CPU and Memory" try the instructions below.
1. Click on the Windows icon at the left hand bottom corner of page.
2. Click on words "Control panel" at right side of pop-up menu.
3. Click on words "System and Security" or if menu set as icon view, click on words "Administrative Tools".
4. If clicked "System and Security", then at bottom of list click "Administrative Tools".
5. Double click "Services".
6. Find "Windows Update" and right click.
7. Left click on "Properties" in drop-down menu.
8. At "startup type menu" set for "Disabled" and at "Service started" click "STOP".
9. Then click "APPLY" then "O.K.".
Under, "Choose how Windows can install updates" I have "Install updates automatically" ever day at 4:00 am set but """Windows update will not work until you turn it back on."""
