I am a loyal e-bayer, with great feedback. When I make a purchase, I love giving 5 star feedback. Don't screw around with the shipping costs though, if your prices are higher than they should be your feedback will suffer.

What a Fantastic Camera!
With the prices of the 1D series dropping I am sure there are a lot of people out there who are considering dumping their current cameras and moving up to the professional bodies. I was one of those individuals. This was a tough call that I deliberated over for a long time, reading reviews, researching the camera etc. I am coming from the Canon 40D, which in and of itself, is another excellent camera. It's high ISO performance was awesome, but they are not built for professional use. Having had the camera for only over a year I logged 138,000 shutter actuations, well past its rated shutter life. Anyways, I took the leap and bought the MKII and have had absolutely no regrets whatsover. So here is my take on the camera compared to the 40D Image Quality - ISO 50-800 MKII is super sharp, great resolution, no noise issues. It is on par with if not better than the 40D's images. I have already noticed that I have to post process far less with the MKII. Image Quality - ISO 1600-3200 This is the area where the 40D takes the lead, the MKII produces noise similar to that of the 30D, it can be controlled in post process, but the 40D has far better noise at these levels. In all honesty the 40D outperforms the 50D even in noise at these levels. Frame Rate - coming from a camera that fired at 6.5 fps I was amazed at how fast 8.5 fps actually was. The MKII rocks, and so does the autofocus, way better than the 40D in this regard. Build - MKII is solid, you feel the quality. It is hefty and beautiful to look at. The 40D now feels like a plastic toy, and Rebels feel like Kodak disposable cameras. This camera was built for abuse, and it will take it. LCD - Although the 40D has a much larger LCD, I don't really miss it. If you know how to set your camera and get good exposures, there is no need to have an LCD. I have noticed that the LCD on my copy of the MKII is bright and makes my shots look blown out when they are actually exposed to my liking. Overall Pro's: 1. Solid Machine, built for professional use 2. Excellent Image Quality up through ISO 1600 3. Extremely accurate auto focus system 4. Beautiful Color straight out of the camera Con's: 1. 40D Outperforms at High ISO shooting, if you're moving up from a 30D then there really isn't going to be a noticable difference in Noise levels between the 30 and MKII 2. Small LCD on the back Overall this is an excellent camera, if you are considering a pro level body and do not want to shell out for the MKIII, this is the system to buy.

Excellent Build, Excellent Image Quality, great alternative to Canon.
I am a professional wedding photographer, and my Canon 70-200 2.8L IS had pretty much run its course, and I was no longer happy with the image quality. I didn't want to spend over $2000 on a replacement, as I am primarily a prime lens shooter and my 135mm produces images just as sharp as the new Canon 70-200. I started doing research and reading reviews on third party options, and have used Sigma glass before, I found a practically new unit on e-bay for $935.00 and purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised when the lens arrived at my door. The build quality is excellent, and although not weather sealed, feels just as good as the Canon equivalent. Image quality is gorgeous, and sharper then anything my Canon 70-200 produced. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this lens! Focus is fast, the Optical Stabilization works great, and the black finish looks great with the camera and doesn't stand out as much as the big white lenses. Sharp at 2.8... super sharp at 4., great value!
