Total football experience
I absolutely love this game. I play it in franchise mode with classic players included. There's nothing like having Tom Brady handing off to Jim Thorpe. I love the fact that you can train your players to be better at the skills you need that suit your team. For instance, I like to run the ball a lot, so I usually train my offensive linemen to be better run blockers to help my running game.
While I enjoy playing the games, I really like the offseason stuff best. After the pro bowl, you enter the offseason where you hire and fire your coaching and training staff and upgrade your stadium. After that comes the real joy of signing free agents. If you play it right, you can accumulate quite a killer team, which I obviously think I have. There's a 7 round draft of college players next which I usually sim through. During the pre-season schedule that follows, teams usually dump a lot of players to get down to the 45 man roster limit. Save some of your salary cap money for the regular season. You can also pick up a few good top name players between the last pre-season game and the first regular season game, if you don't spend too much money during the initial free agency period.
Basically, I really enjoy the full professional football experience that Madden has to offer. Before I bought Madden, I had a life. Now Madden is my life. I can't stop playing it.

The most frustration and fun I've ever had
I'm not a golfer, so I have no idea how to play this game. Still I enjoy playing it. The one thing that frustrates me the most is when I'm putting and I use the putt preview (L1 button), it's supposed to tell me exactly where the ball will travel. Most of the time however, it doesn't go where the preview tells me the ball will go. That really frustrates me.
Another thing that frustrates me is the tee shot. I use the 3 click system to play the tee shot. Even with that, if your timing is not absolute perfect, the ball will end up out of bounds somewhere. While I understand that golf is a game of timing, the game should allow for amatures like me to have a decent shot at winning. But after playing it for a few months, I have yet to crack the top 20 in any tournament.
Even if it does go straight, it never goes as far or long as the preview button tells me. Sometimes the ball travels 230 yards with the wind, and sometimes it goes 280 or more. When I think I'm shooting over a bunker or creek, the ball lands right in it. That really frustrates me.
In spite of all the frustrations, I still like this game. Probably because it reminds me too much of the times when I tried to play golf for real.

Like watching a video

Instead of killing people, you have to order your troops (or gunship or whatever it may be) to do the killing for you. You have absolutely no cotrol over how accurate or effective they are. I'd much rather do my own shooting than have someone else do it for me. The entire game is wasted by telling this squad to shoot those people, etc. It has to be the lamest, most boring game ever.
