Soft touch on serious issues
6 von 7 finden das hilfreich Okay so it's not the original. Disney's sequels seldom measure up to the originals, some are real bombs, but this is better than most. I loved how it touched on the difficulty of a father stepping in to raise his child alone. Both are strangers who, after losing a loved one, have to learn to be a family and they learn this from each other. Originally neither one knows how to cope with this new person in their life but love grows. The child learns courage and responsibility and the parent learns how to have fun and show emotion. Intermingled in the story are all of the original fun characters like Thumper and his sisters as well as Flower the lovable skunk. It is really a good movie and worth adding to your collection.

Great romantic drama.
While this is an older anime and it shows in the artwork, it's truely a great anime series. It deals with not only the relationships of the two main characters, Miki and Yuu, but also their friends relationships. Miki and Yuu, despite having their families totally disrupted, make peace with their new life and fall in love with each other. Miki's best friend has been seeing a teacher and when it's found out the scandal tears them apart. You also have ex-love interests who are trying to get them back, as well as new ones trying to come between them. This romantic drama is like a teenaged soap opera and once you start watching you become addicted. The characters are very likeable and you can't help rooting for them to work things out and get together with the ones they love. It's definetely a good addition to any anime collection and, as they've stopped releasing it, is very hard to find anywhere else.
