Cold Souls . . . A cold, dark comedy worth $8 or a rent
The best way to sum this movie up, is to say that it gives you the same feeling, and entertainment value as Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (Jim Carey, Kate Winslet) without the rewatchability. If you haven't seen it, then I can only describe Cold Souls as an actors "dramedy". Very good acting, with a plot/storyline that moves slower than you may like at first, but it keeps you hanging on until the end. You'll chuckle, go "Hum", but you won't need tissue for your eyes (no super sappy said scenes), or tissue for you underside (this is a subtle comedy/dramedy, you won't "lizz" - laugh till you wizz). Enjoyable, recommendable, rentable but not quite "buyable/keepable", unless you get it for under 8 bucks.

Canon EOS Rebel XSI

XSI allows for the "newschool" viewfinder option, and though I'm a photo-purist, this new option is a very welcomed addition to the world of digital SLRs. The bump up to 12.2 makes a nice difference as well. The camera is lighter than it's predecessor, which might be good or bad, depending on personal preference. It seems that some of the buttons are placed better, for less clutter & more easier access. Batteries hold a longer charge as well. The bigger screen is also a huge plus & asset. Small additions like being able to change the color of the screen, and SD cards instead of the bigger, less adaptive CF cards rounds out the list of additions that improve an already good line of digital SLR cameras. If you can, and you're a Canon person, I recommend the XSI over the XTI.

Gentlemen Broncos. If you liked Napoleon Dynamite . . .
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich From the first preview of this movie (and the fact that it comes from the guys who created Napoleon Dynamite), I knew this was up my "qwerky comedy" alley.
Definitely not for those who didn't like/get Napoleon Dynamite, or Monty Python movies in the past. This is a new type of comedy made popular by the aformentioned. It, like it's predecessors is like watching life through the eyes of a very underexposed teenager who's home schooled or rides the short bus. With that said, the simple, yet very book/geek smart approach to how the story unfolds will make anyone who pays attention to subtly & nuance shed tears of laughter. The 5th scene (from the scene select menu may be one of the funniest scenes in comedy history!) Warm-hearted, imaginative, and oddball-funny. May never be available for rent, so only buy it if you've loved Napoleon Dynamite, and Monty Python movies.
