Great cordless reciprocating saw
Hefty and powerful. It feels to me very much like my corded Sawzall. The weight of it resists bouncing when cutting in less than optimal conditions/position. It will cut through just about anything. I am still continually surprised by the power of these new brushless battery-powered tools.

Polarity, polarity
The unit works great, but we did not realize that the pulse needs to be one polarity to open and the reverse to close the solenoid. So we incorporated a double pole, double throw switch to reverse the polarity from our 5V DC power source. We also found that one needed to have a working pressure to enable the switch to work. It did not throw for us without pressure in the system. These two details we thought to be important. In the end, it works, doesn't leak, stays cool since it isn't always 'on'. We are using this to turn on a gas flow at the beginning and end of the day.

Used Macbook Pro is a champ
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I purchased a Macbook Pro on eBay to replace mine - the logic board died as a result of the nVidia video card. The old computer was too beat-up to repair, so I picked up an identical one on line and just dropped my old hard drive in. Perfect. I turned it on and my old screen appeared. I attached it to my backup disk and the thing went through its normal routine. Interesting that the Macs retain so much of their value, but the fact that everything just worked after the little disaster I had is probably one of the reasons why.
The Macbook pro is a smooth-running machine. It does what you ask of it with few surprises. From the automatic backlit keyboard, auto dimming on the screen in dark rooms to save energy and eye strain to the rapid start up, sleep, and shut down. I have four Apple computers at home and I love the way they interconnect. When my primary computer was out for repair, I could connect to the backup of that computer with a second Mac and carry on without a hiccup. The only improvement I could see would be for a way to easily update the Apple mail (I don't use the .mac account for work) so that all my sent e-mails and recent inbox emails could be added onto my mails in the computer that had been out for repairs. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the smooth transition
