FAB Phone . . . Too bad they don't make it anymore!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have suffered from Smartphonanecrosy with my Samsung ACE for the last year and a half. Because I am stuck in a two year contract, the only way to change was pay full price for a phone. I was mad at my phone and mad at my provider. I now know the ACE has one of the lowest customer ratings of all Sprint phones. Years ago, my husband gave me a Palm PDA which I really like and which still works handily. So, I thought I would give this Palm Treo a try, especially since it has a bit of an external antenea as connectivity at home is a problem with the ACE and other phones I have tried. Finally, cured. It works like a charm, has the Windows OS, is so intuititive. It does what I want, not what it wants. Needs very little charging, has a very powerful battery and signal, auto shut-off and easy turn-on so that you can talk, throw it in your purse, and easily answer again. The only negative is that the camera is 1.3mg and the pictures are not good at all, BUT, hey, this phone is five years old and used. Want good photos, get a camera.

Fabulous Sewing Machine with limited Embroidery Abilities.
7 von 7 finden das hilfreich This is the Viking #1. The difference between the #1 and #1+ is embroidery abilities. The #1 uses cassettes that fit onto the front of the machine, whereas, the #1+ uses the cassettes and has a slot for a programable card and utilizes the embroidery frame attachment which increases the quality of the embroidery. So when people call the #1 an embroidery machine, they are overstating its abilities.
That said, the #1 is a great machine. The most important thing is that you get the cassettes with the machine because they are virtually impossible to find and they are the brains of the stitching. My machine came with 5 cassettes and provides me with 2 sizes of script lettering/numbers (C & M), print letters/numbers (B), decorative sitiches (D & L),and utility, mending, quilting, and button holes (A). The machine may be programmed and has memories. Because it does not use the embroidery attachment, you must guide the fabric/hoop by hand (not the easiest).
Overall, it is easy to use and I love the great features. Sews fabulous and quilts very well. You won't find any support or information from Husqvarna Viking online regarding this machine. When shopping for accessories, the machine is Class 1, and about the only accessories available will be the feet which are premium priced.
I can't really compare it to other machines as I have only used old Singers. My last machine was a Touch n'Sew. But I have been sewing all my life (age 59) and know that this machine has a great stitch and touch. It feels very solid and is quiet and very powerful. Enjoy!
