Genuine Audio-Technica part, all-over great sound
As stated in the title and description, this is an actual genuine Audio-Technica part. I haven't tried any other styli in my LP3 but this one sounds great to my ears anyway so I see no need to get something more expensive.

Tighter tolerances for the extra 10 minutes & high quality discs
These discs provide you with 90 minutes of audio playback because they use a tighter track tolerance when burning. Most DVD-ROM drives can burn to these but you need software that can overburn to use the extra 10 minutes - CDBurnerXP can and this is free software. My 2003 Cambridge Audio D-300 Special Edition CD player can read these discs perfectly, in fact it reads them better than standard 80-minute discs since they went with low-power on the laser, so all the cheaply made CD-Rs these days tend to struggle. These do not. Most good-brand CD players will read these with no issue, a friend of mine has a 1991 Kenwood and that player can also read them.
Really good for burning albums from Bancamp from FLAC sources that go over the 80-minute window slightly - or burning multiple EPs to one disc.

Audio cuts off due to poor connection
Don't even bother. These do not make a good connection, so they wiggle and cause the audio to cut off. Spend a bit more money on higher quality ones.
