DOOM 3 The Final Chapter
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I originally bought my Xbox just so I could play Doom 3. I looked at the price of upgrading my PC to play the game and it didn't make any financial sense. Xbox was on sale for $149 at the time and I got 10% off the game with purchase. We got the Xbox all configured and turned off the lights. Pretty soon we turned on one light. After that we turned down the sound. Impressed with the technology at the time. So anyway, a friend just borrowed the game since it plays o the 360, and he wanted his own copy. I purchased this one for him and he is enjoying it like I and my sons did. My Grandsons will play it when he's a little older, like teenage.
Over all - looking for an older game that will still ROCK? Then this is the one to get. Includes the ported PC versions of Doom, worth the purchase.

Too Few Good Games for Kids on PS3
I have a PS3 and was looking for games that I could play with my Grandsons. They are 11 and down so most of the cool games are way too intense for them in my opinion. So a search revealed that mostly sports games and Hanna Montana and very little else. This game was rated Teen, but since the show is appealing to the younger I took a chance. Sees that they already beat this game on their Xbox 360 so not a real excitement on their part. But they play it with me anyway since I was trying. Plus, we all really like Star Wars.
Need more really cool games for PS3 for younger kids. I wonder what TMNT is rated?

A Kid Friendly NFS - Granddad approved
I like this version simply because you are not playing some outlaw street racer running from the cops. Makes it nicer for the younger kids and its a great racing game. Of course, my Grandsons are much better than me in the game, but I can play pretty aggressive so I can keep up in score.
What I didn't like is that it is a one player game. Not split screen racing. Bummer cause I have a video projector in the game room for my consoles. 84" of screen 6 feet away from your chair? Yeah. 200 watts of stereo power? Yeah.
