Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I already owned and completed the previous two Assassin's Creed games and was pleased with them both. This game maintains the standard of the previous editions and adds some new benefits. There was nothing different about the game that was not an improvement. The multiplayer modes are a great addittion and allow for more fun after completion of the story mode. Some changes are: Rome is rebuilt by purchasing shops, banks etc. which in effect increases income that you can collect and spend. You can call your horse to you and ride almost anywhere on the map. Every mission has secondary parameters, such as a time limit or minimum amount of health maintained, in order to achieve 100% sych for that memory. Most of them are not difficult and those that are can usually be mitigated by use of some handy tricks discovered via walkthroughs or YouTube video guides. The "shop quests" are a minor annoyance but overall, the game is great. If you liked the two previous AC games you will definately like this one. Note: Do not sell anything at the shops until you complete all of the "shop quests". If you have not played any of these series, I recommend trying them starting with Assassin's Creed. They are all well written with ineresting storylines and great graphics.

Splinter Cell Conviction
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have always been a fan of splinter cell games and this newest edition is outstanding. I purchased the collectors edition used: like new and was well pleased with the product.
The gameplay contains some elements similar to previous games but introduces a new way of playing overall. I like the fact that being spotted is not always an instant mission failure. The "mark and execute" feature is the biggest difference between Conviction and previous releases. This feature allows you to mark and execute a number of targets after performing a hand to hand takedown. The number of targets able to be marked depends on the weapon used.
There is a demo available on Xbox live and intersted parties should check it out to see what the gameplay is like. Keep in mind that armor and weapon purchases and upgrades have to be earned when you play the actual game.
The only negative issue in regard to this game is the new method of marketing being used by software companies and others in the supply line. It is becoming very common to leave sections of gameplay, weapons, armor, or abilities out of the game so that they can be offered as "bonus extra material" in premium versions (special eds., collectors eds., etc.), or sold later as downloadable content.
Overall, this is an outstanding game. If you liked the previous SC games you should love this one.
