Boogie Motel - Foghat
Unbelievable! I have listened to Foghat's music occasionally over the years, but Boogie Motel is the ultimate Foghat CD. Every song on it is a hit with me. I bought it because "Comin' Down With Love" is one of my all time favorite songs. It came out about the time that everyone else was listening to Disco music and did not get the recognition it deserves. I'd put it in the same league as Led Zeppelin IV. It's a hard-rocker with 40,000 volts of energy.

yesstory - yes (cd 1992)
Yes puts a rock sound to music written in a classical style. I find the music captivating and uplifting. The themes of the lyrics are much more than the run of the mill "I love you, let's have sex, and maybe get married." The lyrics tell us that we can be more than we are, we count,and we can make a positive change in the world. Some of my favorites are "All Good People, Don't Kill the Whale, Owner of a Lonely Heart,Wondrous Stories, and Going For the One." Those 5 songs alone make Yestory money well spent. Everything else is a bonus!
