Xbox 360, The best gaming system on the market!
What can I say, I love my xbox 360. Microsoft really hit it big when they went from being a software company to breaking Bill Gates's pet peeve of making hardware. The first xbox was great for it's time and the 360 really expanded well on that. Incorporating today's newest technology, Microsoft has created the ultimate gaming machine. Here's how I break it down: Pros: -The High Def Capabilities provide amazing graphics -This doubles as my DVD player for HD movies. -The awesome xbox live interaction is great for players of all ages -Changeable face plates -Games for all ages -Wireless capability Cons: -It helps to have an HDTV, an added expense. -It's really necessary to have xbox live for all the games I play. -The games are still quite expensive -Every "extra" thing you want for your 360 really adds up and gets expensive Summary: Overall this is a great unit. I'm not sure what the current market price is for them. I didn't have to pay for mine because I get most of my cool electronics free from www.wickeddeals.net So I guess I can't complain about the price since you can't beat free. If I didn't get this free would I have bought it? You bet I would have! It's really an investment that will last though years of gameplay (or at least until the next great gaming system comes out).

60GB Black iPod Video Worth the Cost?
A lot of you are wondering if this massive storage device is actually worth the dough. Well.. hard to say since I got mine for free from www.wickeddeals.net But if you are looking for the capability to store an unbelieveable amount of songs, photos, and even video, this device is for you. Pros: I have 7,000 songs, 10 photoshop tutorial videos, and 300 photos on my pod and I still have 52% of the hard drive free. I am trying to so hard to actually fill this thing, but it is difficult! The unit is quite durable. I have dropped it a few times while running with it, and it has only received minor scratches. The screen is very bright and easy to see. The battery time is actually quite good. I think the longest it went for me just playing songs was about 5 hours or so. Cons: This unit is large compared to the other iPods. It is quite bulky on my arm while running. It is too heavy and bulky to leave in my pocket. So I recommend buying the sport sleeve or holding it while working out. The unit does not fit well into the sport sleeve designed for it since the screen is so large. You cannot see the full title or artist name in the song list because the neoprene material covers it up. If you don't need the sport sleeve, then this is not a big deal. The hard drive does have moving parts, so it is easier to break when dropped than a unit that does not have a hard drive. It seems mine has gotten scratches on the front face plate rather easily (sliding it in and out of the protective sleeve). The unit is expensive. Conclusion: If you need loads of storage and don't mind a bulky unit, this thing is great. I love my iPod. And you really can't beat free.

TomTom not good for new areas.
I've had my TomTom for about a year now. At first I just loved it. It helped us navigate around Madison, WI with ease. The large display makes it easy to type in directions, the voice commands are easy to understand, and the beautiful color LCD is easy to read while driving. It wasn't until recently I've started to haet my TomTom. The unit only uses satelites for navigation, not for downloading data. All maps are installed on the memory card, which can be updated on the Internet. So what's the big deal? As I venture into Milwaukee, and the freeway system is being overhauled, TomTom had me going in circles because it was completly lost. I had to use common sense in direction to navigate myself out of the mess. Other instances I've had problems is with new neighborhoods and roads (TomTom just thinks you are driving around in a field), wrong street names, taking awkward routes that often are not the fastest, and just plain bad directions (going the wrong direction on an avenue to get to an address). And one final complaint of the unit, it is way to heavy for the suction cup mount. I have had it drop off my windshield and hit the dash or floor many many times. You might want to buy one of the smaller, thinner units. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent unit and all, but it really needs to be rethought. I've submitted my corrections to the TomTom website, only to find out that each update takes about a year to confim all of the data. The bottom line, if I plan on going to an area that is new, I use my Garmin Legend, which updates via satelite rather than storing the info on a memory chip.
