A great replacement
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I replaced an old pressure switch on an old air compressor with this one because the price was right and I like the fact that you can adjust the high and low limits. it works just like its supposed to.

Can't really beat the price, just watch the load you need.
Pro: self latching, cheap, function very well, can be wired for 3 phase applications.
Cons: does not fit in a standard electrical enclosure, does not show amp rating (
In case you want to know for 230VAC.
For resistive load without inductors or capacitors, the power factor is equal to 1:
amps = 2000W / (1 × 230V) = 8.696A
For inductive load (like induction motor), the power factor can be approximately equal to 0.8:
amps = 2000W / (0.8 × 230V) = 10.870A

Hold start button constantly or use expensive sensing system
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I figured this was a double pole system, ie: being able to use 240vac US through it, but it's not. I'm not actually sure on how this is even supposed to work. If you only use one wire you could possibly hold the "ON" button while attempting to work, but the "Off" button will not be able to be used. The "ON" consists of one pole that closes the loop between the two connections when pressed, and doesn't stay there, of course. The "OFF" button opens the loop as long as you hold it in, thus between the 2 connections, the loop is consistently closed until pressed. I don't get it. I was hoping I could control a 1/2hp 240vac US motor with these. They don't work like that. They do seem to be well built though.
