Buying any book published from the ARRL publishing house is going to benifit all people WORLD WIDE.
This books give the HAM a solid printed reference of Station control in times of leisure and Crisis

That uses almost any Nikon Lens manual, M42 OR Autofocus. some lens need a conversion and you can get that done easily there is a store that offers it right here on eBay.
If have used a film camera and were proficient this professional model makes and easy transition. If you haven't used a camera before then this one is amazingly easy to learn for a professional camera and takes great pictures without the hassle of waiting for the development of film. The Screen is big enough to see if you need to adjust something...
The Fuji S3 and S5 are even further along in Digital technology still using a Nikon Body.
I rate this camera a 100% in ease of use 75% on lens compatibility. In technology it was cutting edge when it came out for $3500
