Good game for kids and family, and entertaining even though it's short.
Ordinarily, I'd recommend PK as a fun rental. Frankly, it's very short to justify a full buy--but then again, it's hard to find stores that actually rent GameCube games anymore, so here we are. But despite its length, PK manages to be a genuinely fun platformer/third-person shooter.

Great book, plot's starting to thicken by a lot, and it arrived quickly.
Ah, Megatokyo--you never cease to amaze me with your complex plots and intricate character arcs...and the plot just keeps getting thicker in this volume. We learn more about Miho, and Ed gets a greater role here, and a few awkward fanservice moments as well (not that I'm complaining, said characters have demonstrated that they're more than just T and A, so it's okay by me, and it made sense in the story). However, as I've said, it's a pretty complex book which might be a turn-off for some people--but I still like it.

If you're looking for a great fantasy series, read this.
Abarat is an incredible series, and I don't just mean story-wise. The art is phenomenal, and if this story was written just because Clive Barker is an amazing artist, then I have no complaints, because the story is well-written too.
