she stands the test of time
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This doll resembles Audrey Hepburn's elegance. but her head sculpt & facial screenings look a little bit harsh, the details of the dress are very accurate, but the thick & bulky material used to make this dress certainly isnt the best quality. if you compare her with Mattel's 3 Elizabeth Taylor dolls and 2 Vivian Leigh dolls from the "Timeless Treasures" collections, you'd agree the other two faces were more detailed and lifelike.
Overall, this is the best Audrey Hepburn doll you can find in the market, other doll companies' Hepburn dolls are just not up to my standard.

A classic Beauty
5 von 12 finden das hilfreich The doll is a part of "Parisienne Sketchbook" collection from 2008, teamed up with Toujours Couture, Tout de Suite, Je Ne Sais Quoi, etc. etc.
The doll wears a white blouse with butterfly bow, a pretty pink suit jacket and matching short skirt, her fashion doesnt particularlly reflect "Parisienne", she fits in any cities you want her to be: New York, Toyko, melbourne... she wont stand out of the crowds. The costumes designs fell in flat, so does the facial screenings, the doll has short blond hair, side-glance blue eyes, dark brown eye shadows and soft pink lips with a beauty mark on the left side above her lips. she has a hand-on-hip body, which many collectors like.
since Pink is such a signature color of Barbie's, she should have looked much prettier than she is now. unfortunately she is just an average girl.
The packagig design is beautiful: The box come with a sketch of the doll.

The photographers captured many wonderful moments of the animal world, the writer was able to translate these animals' emotions into human language and guide you to see & understand LOVE in a delightful way. you just have to admire the imaginations & sense of humor the author has.
let me show you an Excerpt: A cat is helplessly watching a dog running off. What simple truth is this picture telling your? the Author says: you dont have to kiss the first cute butt you see.
It's a book you should have on your living room coffee table, it puts smiles on your face whenever you flip through it, and it entertains your friends when they come over to visit. -- it makes a great Valentine's Day Gift as well.
