The movie that started it all.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This was the best movie the Steve McQueen ever made. He did the driving in the chase scene himself against everyones advise. The movie was shot on the streets of San Francisco on a Sunday morning and gave a new realism to the story. The small part of a taxi driver was played by an unknown new actor, Robert Duvall. I was so thrilled by this movie in 1968, that I bought the same Mustang that year and still have it. This movie was the goundbreaker for all the chase movies that came after.

Great popcorn movie
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Fun movie. It may be to intense for young childern. The special effects are great and I love the storyline that leaves one more to go. Can't wait to see the third installment.

Make the popcorn and grab a beer
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich What a fun movie. I saw this when it came out and was waiting for the DVD. It has an all star cast. Rene Russo is sexy as ever.Danny DeVito and Gene Hackman play off of John Travolta's (Chilly Parmer) beautifully. I'm surprised the self involved and souless hollywood culture would make a film that reflects their shallowness. It is fun to watch a New Jersey Italian boy con these people so easilly and have them eating out of his hand. This movie pretty much sums up Hollywood. Love it!
