Shuffle serves as a good introductory product to MP3s.
This item was bought as a Christmas gift for a youngster, and it serves well as an introductory product to introduce someone to the MP3 world, or else for someone who has little musical knowledge or a small collection. I would not, however, recommend this for audiophiles, who have large collections. In fact, it's probably safe to say that the iPod shuffle is not for that population. But for the casual listener, it is a wonderful product.

Heartwarming and magical coming-of-age story
Patrick Swayze was cast as a Jack Kerouac-type character, drifting through the late 1950s with his magical dog, who happens upon a single mom and her two sons in this tearjerking family film. The film addresses issues of female independence, male bonding and role modeling, social prejudice, and the power of faith in the button-down suburban culture of the late 50s. Actor Joseph Mazzella, then a pre-teen, gets great reviews (as usual) for his acting as the troubled but likeable co-protagonist. Highly recommended to people of all ages for its challenging of societal expectations and hope.

6th Generation Classic Is A Nice Improvement Over Older iPod Classics.
I've been owning and using the earlier generation iPod classics (60 & 80 gb), and really like this one! With the 6th generation iPods, when you scroll down the list, it shows the album covers, which is very cool. The larger capacity means I can fit a greater percentage of my 200 gb of music inside.
The only drawback is that, compared to the older iPod classics -- which show the album cover when you are playing the music, which I like -- the 6th generation iPod shows the album cover turned slightly sideways, with this unpleasant faded mirror effect on the bottom, as if the artwork is mounted on a highly polished table top. I don't like that as much.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend the 6th generation iPod classic, with gradual, subtle improvements over the older, smaller-capacity classics.
