Learn to Live by Darius Rucker
I had never even heard a Hootie and the Blowfish song before. Then I saw Darius on the Country Music Awards and I LOVED his song "Don't Think I Don't Think About it". I thought both he and the song were terrific. So, as always when I discover someone or something new I look up the person or thing on line and learn more. I found Darius' CD on line and ordered it. I love the CD. Darius has a clear, beautiful voice that transcends the race barrier that so many people think SHOULD exist in country music. I have been a country music fan since I was a kid (I'm now 49). I loved Charlie Pride and Cleve Frances (I may have misspelled his name). Race has never played a part in music for me, country music or any other kind of music. A great voice is a great voice. Do yourself a favor, purchase this CD and enjoy it !

Longmire-Keeper
I love a good cop show. But let's face it...since cop shows came to be there have been hundreds, if not thousands of mediocre shows produced. Cops from the future, cops from the past, cops in wheelchairs and even a blind cop (I really like Ron Eldard but a blind NYPD guy was pushin' it even by today's standards) And then along came Longmire. I saw the previews. Saw this gorgeous hunk of manliness and asked myself "hmmm, whats THIS all about"? I have not been disappointed. Robert Taylor is terrifically sexy as the charming but awkward sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Awkward not in his professional life but achingly out of touch with the world since his beloved Martha died. Couple Taylor's charm and rugged good looks with excellent scripts and a great supporting cast and you've got a winner of a show. Cassidy Freeman as Cady, Longmire's lawyer daughter is seemingly the only family Longmire has. I will not give away any details regarding the hit their relationship takes during season 1. Bailey Chase is the square jawed Deputy Branch Connolly. Every week I ask myself "how the hell does he get those pants on ?" I am not complaining. Again, secrets abound, I will not spill. Lou Diamond Phillips is wonderful as Longmire's longtime, long suffering friend Henry. Of course Henry owns a bar as every tv cop's best friend does. Katee Sackoff is the "fresh off the Philly PD"cop who is hired before the first season aired. We are only now beginning to see glimpses of "Vic's" past. And then there is The Ferg. The adorable, bumbling deputy with the heart of gold played by Adam Bartley. Keep your eye on The Ferg, he's got a lot more on the ball than you might think. Last but not least is Ruby, the dispatcher, secretary, office manager and basically the woman who runs Longmire's life. Longmire is a way above average TV cop show. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Boomtown-the tv series
Boomtown was one of my favorite tv shows a few years ago. It was well written and well acted and of course only lasted a short time. I would definitely recommed the series DVD's to anyone who is a fan of "police shows".
