Yamaha DVD-S557 Multiplayer
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Well, I think this is an excellent player for both audio and video considering his age!
I'm a collectionist of audio device that's why I comparated this one to many others similar multiplayer and for sure I can say this is one of the best on building quality!It provide quite sharp images with vivid colours, more than good!!Also audio in audio matter it has great potential! At very first listening you understand that it's a "race horse" but "loaded with a fat rider on his poor back!I explain better: you can immediately notice it's much bigger than any other similar product nothwithstanding it remain slim(this is very likeable to me!)...opening his case you can see something different compared to the most of the others: over the same project power supply PCB you can easily notice 2 more PCB , one containing the mitho mediatek chip MTK1389DE , I would say the brain of the player and the other is a huge PCB containing all analogic section of this player. Very well projected!The sound start from a highly regarded AK4385 DAC made in Japan! This is a magnificent field for tweaking! Who reads something about one of the famousest polish tweaker Mr Fikus knows exactly what about i'm in to : a complete mod of the analog output "to take of this fat rider from this race horse" ;-),leaving the AK DAC at his excellent work and giving a best way to the signal path! The result it's over the top!!!No other player plays music at the same way....it was a very good sound original but twaked it's over the top!!...open wide ...sometime the sound is so intimate that u feel the singer voice wrapping you and every strument is at his place with its own distance...
You can leave it original too ,it's really good....but twaked it's unbeatable!
