The go to tablet for web, and steaming music/movies.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I love this tablet. I bought this with the expectation of using it for light web browser, and to stream movies/music. This is why I went for the fire HDX with the better processor and graphics. I also wanted something not to large, and that was still portable so I choose the 7-inch.
It easily fits in my inside winter jacket pocket (without a case though). The unit is surprisingly thin, and is not to heavy. (Again without a case)
It also easily fits on gym EQ for streaming music/movies while working out but anything larger than 7 inch in my opinion is to large for using at the gym. You'll have a hard time putting it on EQ that have ledges etc or fitting it in a pocket. I think it is perfect if you don't care to watch what they have on the TV's (if your gym has TV's) and you’re on the bicycle or treadmill. Time to catch up on your favorite TV seasons? Yes, thank-you. Make sure you have a good blue-tooth headset though, which you can use with the kindle.
Battery life is extremely long lived, even when watching movies streaming NetFlix it lasts a very long time. I've watched probably a good 6-7 hours without needing to recharge it while streaming NetFlix. The screen is beautiful! Though it does have some glare issues, but overall it still has a great picture quality. The sound is great, it can reverberate if too loud and the speakers are rear facing on the upper backside of the unit. Would have been much better if forward facing but still extremely good.
The wi-fi link is great; I don't use a service though since most places I go has free wi-fi (gym, school, work) but the auto-sync works great.
I am an apple user so nothing transfers as far as movies, music from itunes, etc so that does cramp my style. This was not unexpected though and for obvious reasons I understand but heads up. Also, can't use nook items, which I knew would happen too, but sucks having to re-buy books/movies if I want to watch them on here instead of the iphone/ipad. Just for quality the quad core on this HDX was a deciding factor though instead of the Samsung.
I loved the integrated E-mails and the way the display it on screen. I have every single E-mail account logged in and check/update and use all at the same time. You can also personal and name each one, work, personal, business, etc.
I wish the lock code was longer, better then the 4-digit code that you can use/choose.
Has a forward facing camera only on this particular unit. Nice for taking pictures of yourself, etc but not so for taking any other pictures.

I loved it, great music from the 90's.
90's nostalgia! I remember when this volume came out and had it originally on cassette tape. Great music (club/dance/techno). For the price, way cheaper then ordering on iTunes/amazon/etc. Just uploaded to my online music collection via iTunes. In fact I had a extremely hard time finding this music CD collection available online. So again, great price, good music, and better then online purchasing the music digitally.
