It helps save energy and battery life

Once the battery is fully charged, is good to know that it will not be getting more charge than required which may damage the battery. Also, once the desktop is turned off or to stand-by, the desktop accessories connected to the protector turn off as well. It doesn't get better than that. Luheva64.
